Exemplar Triune is a tri-org group of factions in the Matrix Online MMO on the Recursion server. If the previous sentence is completely foreign to you check out the game's homepage here.

Exemplar Triune is made up of many types of people from all three organizations. The variations run from members of an org's elite to outcasts; from visionaries to those who just don't quite fit in. Though reasons for joining vary, there tends to be one common belief:

Unity is Strength.

Rules of the Node
Some common sense rules that will help make the Exemplar Triune forum site a friendly and hopefully educational site for your MxO experience. We consider our members to be friends, so our rules are designed to simply protect our friends, allow some discussion between friends and most importantly 'help our friends to enjoy their MxO experience to the fullest. So here they are: 1. NO PIRACY: DO NOT post links to 'warez sites'. Do not discuss pirating software. 2. NO PORNOGRAPHY: DO NOT post pornographic images or links to pornographic sites. If the material posted or linked site is not only pornographic, but would be considered child pornography, the appropriate authority will be immediately contacted, without exception. 3. NO SPAM: Do not post the same material to multiple areas. posts like 'me too' and 'no topic' posts are not allowed, it's a waste of space. Exemplar Triune will not tolerate commercial postings of any kind in any of the forums, unless relevant to the discussions and serves to satisfy a query. Registering on the forum to simply advertise a site, product or even another MxO Faction or MMORPG will not be tolerated. 4. ON-TOPIC: with the exception of the 'everything else' and 'member news' forums, Exemplar Triune forums are limited to the discussion of everything Matrix Online related. The 'everything else' forum has some limits however. Topics concerning Religion or Politics are NOT ALLOWED. The quickest way to get on someone's bad side is to be of the opposite political leaning, or of a different religious persuasion. This Faction is a social organization. Our goal here is to have fun. We would like to steer away from any in-fighting. 5. BE RESPONSIBLE: Do not post slanderous, libelous or any defamatory statements on the Exemplar Triune forums, we will not be held responsible for your posts. If you have an issue with another member then e-mail or pm GunneHarlin. That said, we all make mistakes from time to time. If you want our respect you have to handle those mistakes properly. If you make a mistake at some point, then go back and correct it. Make sure to acknowledge the mistake and take responsibility for it. 6. BE REAL: We require the use of your real e-mail address, We DO NOT give out email addresses nor do we sell them to any 3rd party. We hate spammers as much as you :-) Entering bogus info is a waste of your time and ours. 7. BE CLEAN: Adhere to decency and refrain from abusive or hateful language. Please don't direct cuss words towards someone in a hateful or demeaning way. The moderation team will edit any post to prevent offence. 8. BE COURTEOUS: No posting of material that antagonizes, harasses or creates hostility toward another user or group of people. While discussing anything where a difference of opinion is possible (which means anything), please do not take expressions of differing opinions as a personal attack. No targeting of another user by harassing or giving unwarranted attention to or attacking ones race, gender, ethnicity, sexual persuasion, handicap, country, etc. 9. BE VIGILANT: Do not post private information from others that you have received directly from them. If they want their information public, they will post it. Also, no one at Exemplar Triune will ask you for your password. Keep your password in a safe place. 10. NO IN-FIGHTING: While good natured ribbing is acceptable we will not tolerate hostility of any kind between members of different organizations. No war of words between Zion, Merovingian, or Machine members. Be reasonable. If someone says something that offends you, send them a friendly pm to explain the issue. If you receive such a pm, be reasonable and avoid similar behavior in the future. If any party involved in a dispute of this nature does not feel they've been able to resolve the matter between themselves, report the issue to the admin team. The admin team, in consultation with the Faction leaders will review the issue and act as they feel will best resolve the issue and preserve the fun and friendly atmosphere we seek here at our forums. So far we have mentioned rules but not consequences. That is because these are simple and of course as friends we should be able to sort any misunderstandings out through e-mail and the pm system. Ultimately though, any consequences will be up to the admin team of Exemplar Triune (with Praey having final veto). If you are a Faction member and make a minor digression then you can reasonably expect one warning, subsequent digressions will incur a suspension and continuing digressions may lead to a permanent ban. Members who make a major digression may be permanently banned without warning. Ultimately, access to this site is a privilege. A privilege that the admin team reserves the right to revoke at any time. Note: Remember the people running the forum are doing this for fun, in their spare time and LOVE MxO just like you. While the above sounds harsh, several of the site's administrators have run similar forums for years without needing to ban anyone. However, in the interest of simplicity as well as legal protection we make it clear that we have the right to take whatever action we feel in need to resolve issues as they arise. Lastly: Although we will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the operators of Exemplar Triune will not be held responsible for the content of any message. Exemplar Triune's Webmaster, GunneHarlin, reserves the right to Remove, Edit, Move or Close any thread for any reason without notice or explanation (subject to Praey's veto option).
